Hello Fellow 1974 Sarasota High School Grads!
We hope you're ready to "Celebrate the Times of your Life"!
The reunion committee is excited to announce that plans are well underway for our Sarasota High School 50-Year Reunion on May 3 and 4, 2024. We have been working to create a memorable event. One that will recall a wonderful chapter of our lives. Our goal is to WOW attendees in every respect and to ensure that our time together is a resounding success.
We are very pleased to report that we have selected outstanding venues for Friday and Saturday. Michaels on East Wine Cellar will host our Friday gathering and serve sumptuous hors d’oeuvres as only they can do - there will surely be enough to make for a delicious dinner while catching up with all your classmates and sharing a few tales and memories of the times of your life. A full reception, dinner, and entertainment on Saturday evening will be at the Sarasota Yacht Club. Both venues have graciously provided discounted rates.
The committee is keeping affordability at the forefront so that as many classmates can attend as possible. That includes employing a structure that the Class of 1973 applied with great success for their reunion last May. A giving program is now available for classmates to contribute to.
Your contributions will benefit everyone who attends by lowering the per person cost for the two nights of festivities. A portion of the donations will be reserved for classmates who are otherwise unable to attend for financial reasons. Application details will be available at the soon to be launched 1974 SHS 50 Year Class Reunion website.
Donations of all amounts will be identified as "anonymous". Should you wish to make a contribution of $2,500.00 or more, you will have the option to receive recognition during the event.
Our goal is to reach $20,000 in contributions.
Some suggested giving amounts are below. Feel free to donate whatever amount works for you - including sums not listed. Remember that all classmates will benefit as donations will lower the ticket cost for each attendee.
