La semana pasada, Joan Rodríguez Rosario, de 33 años, sufrió un stroke en el lóbulo frontal izquierdo. Durante su evaluación, también se encontró un pequeño orificio en su corazón. Gracias a Dios no sufrió daños irreversibles, pero el orificio en su corazón debe ser reparado lo antes posible, ademas necesita continuar tratamiento médico con un neurólogo y terapias del habla para apoyar su recuperación. Joan, joven madre residente en Florida, no tiene seguro médico. Actualmente está en reposo mientras recibe terapias y en espera para la operación. Por ello, acudimos a nuestra familia y amistades para recaudar fondos a través con el fin de cubrir sus gastos médicos y apoyar su regreso a la vida diaria. Cualquier aportación, por pequeña que sea, hará una gran diferencia.
