This is an emergency fundraiser for Muhammad Jundia and the Jundia family who are displaced in west of Gaza City.
Hello! My name is Mari, and I'm based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I currently run several fundraising campaigns for individuals and families from Gaza. I'm raising money for Muhammad Jundia and his family who are currently located west of Gaza City, in a displacement camp. Currently, all family members except Muhammad are recovering in different hospitals across Gaza City after the tent next to theirs was targeted and the resulting explosion injured all family members and killed Muhammad's brother. Please read on and consider supporting this family.

Muhammad's sister, injured after a recent bombing
I was put in contact with Muhammad through one of his friends that I have known for over a year now, after the bombing that injured Muhammad's family. Muhammad was working at his job as a first responder, and while responding to a call, found that it was in fact his own family that needed help. His entire family was injured in the bombing, some critically, and on top of it all, they are simultaneously grieving the loss of Muhammad's brother, who was martyred in the bombing.

Muhammad, before the war
Please read Muhammad's story, in his own words:
I am Muhammad Jundia from Shuja'iyya, Gaza. We were displaced from Shuja'iyya to Nuseirat, and then from Nuseirat to Rafah, to Deir Ezzor, to Az-Zawaida, and then to Khan Yunis. Praise be to God, of course, with each displacement we had large tents and bathrooms. Finally, we returned to Gaza City. Our house was completely destroyed, all three floors, so we now we stay in a tent.

Muhammad's home, before the war
I work in civil defense as an ambulance driver, a rescuer, and a firefighter. When suddenly someone needed help, we received a distress call. As usual, we rushed out and are surprised to find that all of my family members, my mother, my father, and my sisters, were thrown on the ground. It was the shock of a lifetime, of course, and the situation is very difficult. I slept in the hospital for a week, moving from place to place.
Then, while I was in the hospital, I lost my wallet and all my money. Thank God for my job. There is no salary, for God's sake. We work at the beginning of each period and take very little. We cannot afford a bag of flour. The situation is very difficult beyond what you can imagine.
Muhammad's struggle to obtain food for his family in Gaza
Muhammad plans to use all funds raised by this campaign to obtain basic necessities for his and his family's survival, and hopefully, be able to fund their evacuation in the future. Most importantly and urgently, they need to be able to recover from their injuries and obtain food, which has become outrageously priced and extremely scarce in Gaza.
I have set up a dedicated bank account for Muhammad and the Jundia family, and all money collected will be held in this account until requested by Muhammad.
We truly appreciate your support and contributions. Please consider donating or sharing our campaign, and you are welcome to contact me with any questions you may have!
