Kids N Culture is an all around amazing organization that started in a Harlem classroom 15 years ago. The mission is straightforward - close the opportunity gap for NYC students who have never traveled or extensively interacted with communities outside of their own. We are one of the most diverse cities in the world, and yet one of the most segregated school districts in the country.
KNC brings students from all around the city to work together, learning and exploring a new culture through interactive field trips and curriculum meetings. The program culminates in a fully paid study tour abroad - and for many of the students, it’s their first time on a plane! Hundreds of students apply to the program every year, and we have accepted enough students to fill (3) international tours in 2023.
We must raise $30,000 in the next 30 days. Insane? Maybe. But we love a good challenge, and this one is for a good cause. There are three ways you can help.
Sponsor a Student: Your $250 donation sponsors a student to participate in the KNC program, including their travel abroad. You will receive personalized feedback from the student about the program, their experience, and the impact it has had on their life! You can donate directly on their website
