As a single mom in Lorton, Virginia, life often feels like a balancing act. I have two incredible children, each with their own set of challenges. My daughter requires blood infusions every four weeks to manage internal bleeding, and my son is autistic and communicates very little. Between their medical needs and day-to-day care, I've come to realize that even the simplest tasks can seem overwhelming without the right support.
I'm currently unable to hold a traditional job due to the demands at home, and I'm trying to launch a small business to help support us. Balancing doctor visits and therapies while nurturing my dream feels like an uphill battle, but I am determined. My kids are my world, and every step I take is with them in mind. We have our share of joyful moments, and I want to ensure our home remains a place of security and hope as we navigate through these challenges together.
