Help Build Our Permanent Home for Historical Martial Arts & Movement
Like so many Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) clubs, we started our journey the grassroots way—training in backyards, public parks, and empty lots under the sweltering Florida heat. In 2023, we finally moved indoors into a sublet at a local gymnastics facility. When that gym closed unexpectedly, we had to scramble for a new training home. A local CrossFit gym generously opened their doors to let us sublet a few days a week for the past year, and while their team has been incredible to us, our club has officially outgrown shared spaces.
Now, we have reached a massive milestone: we secured our own dedicated facility.
No more subletting, no more shifting gear around, and no more schedule restrictions. Having a permanent home allows us to build a true hub for both HEMA and yoga, but getting the doors open comes with serious upfront costs. Beyond initial deposits and lease fees, the space needs significant work before we can safely step onto the floor.
Your support will directly fund:
Essential interior demolition and wall prep
Fresh paint and durable flooring
Dedicated soundproofing to keep our training neighbor-friendly
Building out a custom, regulation combat list (ring) for weapons training and sparring
General buildout supplies and community training gear
Every dollar goes straight into building a safe, permanent, and accessible space for historical martial arts, fitness, and mindfulness in our community. Whether you can donate $5 or simply share this campaign with fellow martial artists and friends, your support means the world to our club.
Thank you for helping us forge our new home!
