Help Me Build a Resource Classroom Where Every Child Can Thrive
As I prepare for an exciting new chapter next school year, I have the opportunity to create a brand-new 3rd–5th grade resource classroom. I will be working with amazing students who learn in unique ways and benefit from extra support, encouragement, and specialized instruction.
I am asking for help raising $2,000 to create a classroom environment that gives these students every opportunity to succeed. Starting a classroom from the ground up means purchasing many essential items needed to make learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful.
The funds raised will go toward setting up the classroom and purchasing important materials such as manipulatives, hands-on learning resources, flexible seating, sensory tools, classroom organization materials, books, educational games, and school supplies specifically designed to support students with diverse learning needs.
Manipulatives and hands-on resources are especially important in a resource classroom because they help students make connections, build understanding, and learn in ways that traditional materials sometimes cannot. These tools can make the difference between frustration and confidence, and between simply completing work and truly understanding concepts.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where students feel encouraged, capable, and excited to learn. A classroom should be more than four walls—it should be a place where children feel seen, supported, and celebrated for their growth.
As educators, we often spend personal money to ensure students have what they need because we believe every child deserves the best opportunity to succeed. If you feel led to support this journey, please know that no donation is too small. Whether you donate, share this page, or simply help spread the word, you are helping create opportunities for students who deserve every chance to thrive.
Thank you for supporting these amazing students and investing in their future. Together, we can build a classroom that truly makes a difference.
