We are raising funds to help cover the burial expenses for James Wood, who recently passed away.
James Wood was a person who meant a lot to many. With his jokester personality and a witty gift of gab, he touched the lives of those around him in ways that won't be forgotten.
Due to the manner of death being a homicide that is unsolved with an open investigation still ongoing, we are not allowed to have him cremated. He has to buried in a way that his remains can be recovered for his case or connection to any other future cases of the like that may come up.
This loss has been incredibly difficult on us and we would like to bring him back to Texas and have his remains buried in Vidor. We want him here to be close to his daughters, family, and so many lifelong friends. As of now, his remains are still at LSU faces lab in Baton Rouge, LA and we are asking for your help to get him here and laid to rest.
