Three-year-old Anthony Jordan was killed after gunfire erupted outside of his home this weekend during his birthday party. "The party was for the boy" police stated.
Meanwhile, the party was being held at an Airbnb short-term rental, according to Front Royal Police
“He (was) too sweet. He didn't deserve it,” Anthony’s cousin, Tracy Jordan said. “I wish it could be me. To take my spot. And then he could live.”
Also wounded during the shooting was a 21-year-old woman, according to this Virginia Police Department,her identity has yet to be released.
police said it happened around 8 p.m. in the area of Blue Ridge Avenue and E Prospect St. Officers arrived after receiving a ShotSpotter alert of gunfire.
