Hey guys my name is Amiliya and I’m 25 years old with a 1 year old black lab named Syx (6). I am currently facing a hard time in which my power has been shut off because of an extremely large over due balance. When I first moved into my apartment I was just happy to have my own space to breathe and feel like a burden. I unfortunately dropped the ball on plenty of things because at 20 are we really full adults? I say for someone it depends. Clearly for myself I was not and I thought just paying the landlord was enough not. I now owe $3,000 but in order to get my services up and running I need to pay $2,800 that I just don’t have. I’ve tried to apply for all types of programs and loans but I’m not eligible for any that I’ve come across. Syx and I are currently stuck in a hot home with no lights good or AC and all I want is to keep my dog healthy and safe and now I feel like I can’t. With my mental health getting worse and life getting harder and more expensive I’m just in an extremely dark place that I don’t know how to get myself out of.
