Winter, who I dedicate this to, was one of many who me and my late wife, Peggy have saved over the last 20+ years in East Texas and Louisiana. Most have ended up in homes across the US. However, there are a few that have called our home theirs and have lived long and loving lives here before going to heaven!
Since Peggy’s death in 2017, I have become more involved in helping the dogs in shelters find freedom and ultimately a home! Some have ended up sharing my home, while most have gone on to find their forever homes!
I currently have 13 residents at my home, 12 others in boarding and foster care! There are costs associated with boarding, food, medicines, and vet care.
