On Tuesday afternoon the top of a redwood tree came barreling down landing on my house causing major damage to multiple rooms as well as the roof.  I was home in bed sick all day, left at about 3pm to take the dogs for a walk. Received a text from a neighbor while we were out, and rushed home to find this. I am glad I am alive, and I am trying my hardest to move along and heal. Any well wishes or prayers my way would be very much appreciated.

I am waiting to hear back from my homeowners insurance, I am hopeful that they will cover the damage, but I have a very high deductible, and I will need to pay out of pocket to have some trees removed. As many of you know, I recently graduated nursing school and am still waiting to receive my license, so money is tight and I definitely don’t have it in the budget to do ANOTHER round of tree work out of pocket.
