Hi! My name is Kayla and I am raising money for the Miss America Foundation as a part of the Miss America 2022 competition. College is so important to me, so i'm doing everything possible to achieve my dream of becoming a veterinarian someday.
The Miss America Organization’s mission is to prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women. One of the ways they do that is by providing scholarships—from the national competition, all the way to our local communities.
The Miss America Organization also offers an excellent platform for teens like myself to spread awareness about causes that are important to them. If you follow me, you know my passion is for shelter adoption advocacy. My voice has been amplified through the Miss America Foundation.

About the Miss America Foundation:
The Miss America Foundation (MAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers women through career resources and educational scholarships. In addition to awards for women competing in the Miss America program, the MAF offers scholarships to women in the categories of medicine, business, STEM, military service, equity and justice work, social impact, athletics, the performing arts, and more. Donations made through this campaign will directly benefit the candidate’s state organization and the Miss America Foundation, 501(c)(3). As a 501(c)(3), donations are tax deductible per IRS regulations.
