This is Milo — our sweet, silly 3-year-old cat and my daughter Mallory’s very best friend. They’ve grown up together since they were babies (they’re only a month apart), and Milo is such a huge part of our little family. He’s the sweetest boy, 
A few days ago, Milo had a terrifying accident. At first I thought he had swallowed something, but at the emergency vet, we learned he had actually been electrocuted. Right now, Milo is on pain medication and antibiotics, and I have to carefully medicate him every 8 hours to prevent infection.
The hardest part- if Milo doesn’t start eating soon, he’ll need to be admitted to the emergency animal hospital in Scarborough for a feeding tube. If he can eat on his own, he’ll have a follow-up vet appointment Monday to check his healing.
The bills for his care are already overwhelming, I was left with very little after yesterday’s emergency visit. Between vet bills, recent car repairs, and house expenses, I’m stretched thinner than ever.
