On Saturday, March 26th at 8pm at Crashbox in Austin, Rude Mechs will do a public reading of a short play written by Ukrainian playwright Yelena Astasyeva called A Dictionary of Emotions in Wartime. Yelena wrote the play in the past month and we are raising money to send directly to her in Kyiv. The play is one of many Ukrainian plays commissioned by Sputnik Theatre Company. Rude Mechs was given the rights to do a public reading of the play and Sputnik asks that we raise at least $1000 for the playwright in return.
