Help Us Bring Hope, Care, and Joy to Children in North Africa
Â
Â
This summer, my husband Vincent and I have the opportunity to take part in a humanitarian project in a small village in North Africa, alongside a team from our local church community. We are raising $7,000 by July 21st to make this journey possible.
Â
The need in this region is urgent. Recent severe weather has deeply affected families, schools, and childrenâmany of whom lack basic supplies, safe play spaces, and access to medical resources. Our team will be working directly in the village to:
Â
- Build a playground where children can safely play, laugh, and simply be kids
- Deliver medical supplies and medicine to support local health needs
- Provide backpacks, clothing, and essentials to children and families
- Visit schools to offer encouragement, care, and human connection
Â
Â
This project is rooted in service, compassion, and dignityâmeeting people where they are and offering tangible help without expectation or agenda. It is about showing up, listening, and standing alongside communities in need.
Â
Children are especially close to our hearts. I am a pediatric nurse, and caring for vulnerable children is both my profession and my passion. Vincent is currently in school to become a biologist and teacher, driven by a deep desire to educate, mentor, and serve young people. This calling to help children is something we share, and this trip is a natural extension of who we are and the lives we hope to lead.
Â
The $7,000 we are raising will cover:
Â
- International flights
- Room and board
- Transportation and logistics
- Required expenses while serving in the village
Â
Â
This trip is also the first step in a long-term visionâto build lasting relationships and continue supplying aid, support, and friendship to this community in the years ahead. We donât see this as a one-time effort, but the beginning of something much bigger.
Â
We are humbly asking for your support. Any donationâlarge or smallâdirectly helps us bring care, safety, and joy to children who need it now. If youâre unable to give financially, sharing this fundraiser also makes a meaningful difference. Anything raised above the 7000 will be donated to the cause.Â
Â
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for being part of something that reaches far beyond borders. â¤ď¸
