For over 15 years, Rags 2 Riches Rescue Mission has saved thousands of dogs from suffering—giving them safety, love, and a second chance. Now, they’re in crisis
Now, they have had to face one of the hardest truths in rescue.
In recent months, they’ve faced heartbreaking situations where emergency veterinary care was denied because payment plans were not accepted. Vets required thousands of dollars up front — per puppy — before they would begin diagnostics or treatment.
These moments made it painfully clear: We must be financially prepared to act immediately when lives are on the line.
That’s why we’re now working to build a dedicated emergency fund — a vital resource that will allow us to secure urgent care without delay, without obstacles, and without having to pause for fundraising when every second matters.
This year has already tested us in so many ways. Our ability to rescue and rehome has been limited, but the expenses haven’t stopped — daily care, medical needs, rent, and facility upkeep continue to pile up.
100% of these funds will be used for these needs.
