The loss of Tom Johnson has been incredibly difficult for everyone that knew him – whether it was for a day or a lifetime. The effect he had on all of us is indelible, undeniable, and long-lasting. Among those most impacted is his fiancé Melissa, whose life was upended on July 23rd in ways that most of us could never imagine. She is fortunate to have the support, on every level, of her and Tom’s families.
In the wake of his death, many people have reached out to ask how they can support her, especially financially, as she comes to terms with this enormous loss and begins to adjust to her new normal. It is because of this overwhelming desire by the community to help her that we, as her friends and with her blessing, have opened this fund to those who are so moved to contribute. The proceeds will help support Melissa as she navigates this unimaginable and challenging time.

As many of you already know, Tom and Melissa were together for nearly 13 years and went on many adventures together. They were set to get married in Cape May, where they met and fell in love, on September 23rd.
