David was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at age 10, back when most people found they had it in their early 20's. He did remarkably well, until in 2012 when he was 27 and he lost weight to match his weight from when he was 10. A bowel resection surgery and an emergency surgery for sepsis 2 weeks later, and he went on to race cars and local mma fighting. Ultimately he chose law enforcement as his chosen profession. Recently, he has become quite ill again. He has used all his sick and vacation leave, we were hoping that medicines would get him on his feet. But that didn't work out as we planned. Right now as I type this. he is having emergency surgery and is expected to have another bowel resection in the next few months. He lives in a right to work state. So there is no guarantee he will have a job when he gets back on his feet, for failure to preform duties of his job. David has 2 children 7 and 13. His wife is now working 7 days a week and still not making up for his lost income. If you can find it in your hearts to help, it will save him from losing his house and everthing he has worked so hard to achieve for his family.
