I have been with my scout troop for the past 6 years. I am now working toward my Eagle Scout rank. I'm currently working on the required Eagle Project, which is a culmination of the leadership and organization skills I've developed while with the Scouts. Fundraising for the project will teach me how to organize for other projects down the road. For my Eagle Project I'm building 15 picnic tables for a local park. These tables will create extra places to sit and rest, and replace broken tables. As a part of the project, I am required to raise 10% of the project's estimated cost via donations, or about $350.
