The Mission
I am a husband, a father, and a professional dedicated to my family. My 9-to-5 income goes straight to my household to keep us above water. Because my family’s needs come first, saving for the high-end equipment required to grow Frostbyte Productions has been a slow process.
I’ve reached the technical limits of my current gear. Shooting in Alaska from September through March means fighting constant darkness. My current crop-sensor camera forces me to push the ISO to the limit, resulting in grainy images that don't meet the professional standard I strive for.
The Goal: The Sony a7 IV
The move to a full-frame sensor is the necessary next step for the evolution of Frostbyte Productions. A larger sensor allows for:
• Superior Light Intake: Clean, sharp images during dark winter months without the digital "noise."
• Professional Versatility: While my biggest niche is automotive, this upgrade provides elite quality across all my commercial and creative projects.
• Business Growth: The ability to take on higher-tier clientele and execute the high-level video productions I have in development.
The Gear List
To make this transition, I am looking to secure:
• Sony a7 IV Body: 33MP full-frame sensor for elite low-light performance.
• 24-70mm f/2.8 Lens: Professional-grade glass for everything from wide shots to tight details.
• 85mm f/1.8 Prime: For razor-sharp portraits and professional depth.
• High-Speed SD Cards: To handle the 4K video and data flow of a full-frame system.
A Straightforward Ask
I wasn't raised to ask for money; I believe in working for what you have. But balancing the cost of professional gear with the responsibilities of a family man is a real challenge. I am asking for your support to help bridge that gap.
Investing in this gear isn't just "buying a camera"—it’s building a professional foundation for my business so I can level up my craft and better provide for my family. Any contribution or share of this link helps me take this next step
