For over four decades, Shen’s has stood as a symbol of resilience, family, and community in Boca Raton. But today, that legacy is hanging by a thread.
As small, family-owned businesses continue to disappear, it’s becoming harder for places like Shen’s to survive. The challenges of the past several years have pushed us to a point we never imagined we’d face.
If Shen’s closes, another piece of Boca Raton’s history will disappear forever. This isn’t just about losing a restaurant—it’s about losing a place where generations of families gathered, where lifelong friendships were made, and where our community always found a warm welcome.
Kathy Shen has spent decades giving back to this community, especially to Boca Raton’s Jewish community. She has opened her doors to Holocaust survivors, hosted community gatherings, and made Shen’s a place where everyone felt like family. She has always been there for others.
Now, she needs us.
This is our chance to stand behind someone who has spent a lifetime standing behind her community. Every donation, every share, and every prayer helps keep the doors open and gives this Boca Raton institution a fighting chance.
Let’s come together to preserve a legacy that has been part of our community since 1983. With your help, Shen’s can continue serving generations to come.
