Clyde — my gentle boy, my “Clydesdale” — has always been the softest part of my life. He’s the cat who curls up against me when I’m sad, who follows me from room to room like he’s making sure I’m never alone, who purrs the moment he sees me because loving is simply who he is.
But now Clyde is hurting in a way I can’t fix on my own.
His eye has become swollen, cloudy, and painfully damaged. The vet told me something no pet parent ever wants to hear: the only way to stop Clyde’s suffering is to remove the eye. Hearing those words felt like a punch to the chest. I would give anything to take his pain away myself, but this is something only surgery can do.
And Clyde isn’t the only one affected. His sister, Bonnie, is struggling too.
Clyde and Bonnie have been inseparable since the day they were born. They sleep pressed together, groom each other, and panic when they’re apart. Bonnie senses something is wrong. She stays close to Clyde, watching him with worried eyes, nudging him gently like she’s trying to comfort him. She misses the playful brother she adores. She doesn’t understand why he’s hurting, only that he is.
Even through all of this, Clyde still tries to be brave. He still purrs when he sees me. He still leans into my hand for comfort. He still trusts me completely — and that trust is what keeps me fighting for him.
Why I’m asking for help
The cost of Clyde’s surgery, medications, tests, and follow‑up care is more than I can manage alone. I’m doing everything I can, but I need help to give Clyde the chance to live without pain — and to give Bonnie her happy, healthy brother back.
What your support means
Your donation doesn’t just help pay for a medical procedure.
It gives Clyde relief from constant pain.
It gives Bonnie her best friend back.
It helps keep this little family whole.
It gives me hope when I’m scared and overwhelmed.
Even the smallest donation makes a difference. Even sharing Clyde and Bonnie’s story helps more than you know.
Thank you for caring about Clyde. Thank you for caring about Bonnie. And thank you for helping me fight for my sweet Clydesdale’s comfort, healing, and future.
