This is the first time I ever ask for help and I would never ask if it wasn’t this important. I have a friend who has five children (four living). She is an amazing Mother, hard worker, selfless and appreciative. Life has been tough for her for a very long time. She came to the US 13 years ago from the Philippines. At the time she married an American man and relocated here. When she left the Philippines she did leave three children with her mother with hopes of eventually bringing them to the US as well. The hopes of bringing her three children from the Philippines here did not happen because she had two more children in her new marriage and shortly after became a single mother without any support what so ever.
She works a full time job (long hours/ 12hour shifts) as a medical assistant but is only making $20.00 hour and supporting four children on her own. Since relocating here to the US a few years ago, she lost one of her children in the Philippines due to an accident. Having two children here in the US with no one to leave her children with, she didn't even had the means to go back home to her own child’s funeral. She also has not seen her other two children in person in over 13 years due to not being able to afford a plane ticket for her two children. Currently one of her children is also battling an illness.
I know this story may seem very overwhelming, but I can assure you this story is REAL. This Christmas, I want to make it possible for her and her children to reunite. I am hoping that anyone that is able to contribute to this effort will help me to make this possible.
