Hello my name is Brandy, I would like to start off by saying THANK YOU for just taking the time to read post. I guess I'm supposed to "Tell my story", but I don't like to say or use the word story, because this not a story this is a situation in my life that I can't fix myself and have no one to help me, and well just like the title states....I just need a little help!! A year ago I moved from San diego CA, to Arizona to better my life. Since I worked as an IHSS (IN HOME SUPPORT SERVICES) caregiver for 6 years as well as a (NEMT) non emergency medical transportation driver for 3 years in San Diego, I thought I could easily get a job in Arizona doing the same thing, but I have not been able to find steady employment. I have made arrangements with my roommate/landlord to fix his roof as well as fixing other things around the house in exchange for rent since my unemployment just recently ran out. So to support myself, I started driving for Door Dash, I also do odd jobs here and there, as well as sell things to make money but its just not enough to keep up on my car payment and pay my storage unit in San Diego. I'm currently waiting for a hearing with the San Diego labor board for a non payment of employment from working, where that should be almost 8 grand or so, but I'm not sure when that will be, they say it should be soon but not soon enough. So this morning I woke to my car gone, not only that but the day before my boyfriend and I got into a huge fight where I packed everything I had into my car. So I not only lost my car but all my belongings I had with me, I only have the clothes I was wearing and my dog. And my storage in San Diego will go up for auction in April and I will lose everything. I just need a helping hand so not lose everything I own. I have no family or friends to help me with this issue, I have tried to keep it all together without full time employment but it's even harder now with no car to get work or go to my odd jobs. I don't know how much it will be to get my car back, right now I owe 1,500 on my car and my storage right now is $600.00, but will auction on april 4th. My goal is $5000.00 so I can pay my current owed bill on storage maybe a extra month on it and to get my car back and be up to date on payments until my labor case gets approved. I know that this is my responsibility to maintain myself but I have no other option but to ask for help. I will gladly pay anyone back that helps me out with my hardship once I get my money from labor board case and or a full time job.
