On August 17th, I was coming home from my job as General Manager of my restaurant, when I was hit at the stoplight by another car that were speeding and didn't realize I was stopped. It totaled my car and resulted in damaging 5 discs in my back along with nerve damage in my neck that affects my left hand. I have had to retire from restaurants after 40 years in the business that I loved. I have filed for social security disability but that is not going to pay for all the things that I need right now. Amy and I are trying very hard to get by, but it's hard..it's real hard.. anything that you can do to help us will not be forgotten and surely appreciated. Those that know me know I love restaurants and managing them. I love my customers, and friends coming by to see me. I'm going to have to retire from that.. and that's what I hate the most.
