Many of you know Bill Gentner, better known as “Pisser,” as a hardworking, loyal friend, and someone who would never hesitate to help others. For the past several years, Bill has been quietly battling cancer, sharing his journey with only a small circle of family and friends.
About three years ago, Bill was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. After receiving this devastating news, Bill and his family chose to pursue chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately, the treatments made him extremely ill and greatly impacted his quality of life. After much thought and discussion, he made the difficult decision to discontinue chemotherapy.
Following that decision, Bill was told that without chemotherapy, he had only three months to live. Determined to keep fighting, he explored other options and chose a holistic treatment approach. That decision gave him something truly priceless—more time. Over the past two years, he has been able to create memories with family and friends, continue doing what he loves when he was able, and enjoy precious moments that many thought he would never have.
Despite the pain, fatigue, and countless challenges that come with cancer treatment, he has remained determined and resilient.
Unfortunately, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Many of the treatments that have helped Bill are not covered by insurance, and we have now reached a point where additional alternative treatment options are needed. These treatments not only provide hope but greatly improve Bills mental, emotional and physical health however they come at a significant cost.
We are asking for your support to help ease the financial strain on Bill and his family so they can focus on what matters most—his health and quality of life.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support. Together, we can help Bill continue his fight and give him every opportunity to keep making memories with those he loves.
