One day, I pulled over on the side of a dirt road to pick flowers and ended up saving and entire Pitbull Family. I had never been a fan of the breed personally, but I could tell in an instant that these dogs weren't barking in aggression, they were pleading for help!
Without hesitation I stuck my arms straight over the fence and let them know that they were saved. To my surprise, there was still a terrified puppy hiding in the shadows. It didn't take long before I had the adults distracted with food and water, so that I could save that sweet puppy. She was named before her feet hit our floor mats.
Ten years later she has more than woven her soul into our hearts and lives. Now, it is time for us to repay her love with a much needed and life changing surgery.
She has managed to completely tear her ACL and Meniscus. I can only imagine that it happened jumping from our tailgate in her excitement to be home. It has already been several months since the injury has happened and she has been on pain killers and muscle relaxers. I have been hoping that my financial situation might improve, but that has not been the case.
I am a single Mother and live in a Seasonal driven area. I can qualify for the CreditCare options, but even the smallest monthly amount is out of my budget.
I am only asking for enough to cover the amount of the Surgery, Travel cost, medication and any special medical devices(i.e leg brace).
