Bit of Hope Ranch reaches, rescues and restores horses to use in their counseling, wellness and educational programs. Magic is a Percheron cross horse that the Ranch has added to their herd to give the adults and larger riders a sturdy horse for therapy. She is 17 years old and has been passed along several horse traders before we found her. We were told that the Omish trained her to drive and ride and now it appears that she is on her 3rd or 4th career.
Right now, she needs a lot of additional calories and vet care to get her in good condition. We are looking for "Ranch Heroes" that are interested in donating to help cover her expenses. She is large and will require more food than the rest of the horses.
Her impressive size and kind heart will capture the many wounded hearts and souls that come through our gates. They will look past her scars and see her inner calm and beauty.
