Micaela Cruz, was involved in a car accident November 22, 2023 on the 78 highway.
She was heading home from a 10hr work shift to meet with her fiance and 4 kids. She had mentioned how bad her feet were hurting and all she wanted was to go home and change her shoes before they went out for lunch.
All that took a wrong turn when she was involved in a head on crash. Micaela was air lifted from where the accident happened with a broken left leg , broken right foot, 2 broken ribs, injured kidney and liver. When she 1st arrived to the hospital doctors thought her left leg was not going to make it but they were able to save it because the main artery was still attached but the rest of her leg wasn't. (doctors managed to saved it!)
At the moment she is in the hospital getting treatment they are looking at 2 to 3 weeks at the hospital and several surgeries which means her fiance Mariano can not attend work. We need to raise money for housing, gas and food for their 4 kiddos .
