In November 2020, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, not due to smoking. I was able to start a medication to treat it because of an EFGR mutation.
Fast forward to 2023, everything was great, and then I was diagnosed with a separate cancer, breast cancer. I had chemo and a partial mastectomy and am on medication for it.
I was put on disability but didn't qualify for Medicare. So, my whole $ 700-a-month premium came out of my paltry disability check.
Fast-forward to now, and I have a job that I will start on June 23! I need help coming up with $10K to pay for moving expenses and the whole first and last deposit on an apartment rental.
Can you help a sister out? This is a real chance for me to get off disability, get employer-paid healthcare, and so much more. I'll even be able to pay it forward!
