Please Help Rebecca & Shawn Lay "Baby Waylon"  to Rest.

 

Tragedy has struck our family in the most heartbreaking way. My daughter, Rebecca, and her husband, Shawn, had just moved to Montana for a fresh start when their lives took an unimaginable turn.

On February 19, Rebecca underwent emergency gallbladder surgery. During the procedure, the surgeon carelessly nicked her uterus, triggering premature labor. Just hours later, she had to undergo an emergency C-section, delivering her son, Waylon Shawn Whisman, at only 27 weeks, weighing 2 lbs 4 oz.

Waylon was a fighter, battling against the odds of extreme prematurity. But while in the NICU, he contracted MRSA, a severe hospital-acquired infection. Our sweet boy fought with all he had, but on March 2, after just 12 days of life, he tragically passed away.

Now, Rebecca is trying to recover from two major surgeries while caring for her 10-month-old daughter, Paisley, and grieving the devastating loss of her firstborn son. Meanwhile, Shawn is doing everything he can to support his family, but they are now faced with funeral and memorial costs they simply cannot afford.

We are reaching out for help to give Waylon the peaceful, dignified farewell he deserves. No parent should have to worry about funeral expenses while enduring this kind of heartbreak. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease this burden and allow them to focus on healing.

From above protect your Mommy & Big Sister Paisley and from below Daddy has your back to nprotect them and keep them safe down here. WAYLON  Do Grandma a favor  PLEASE HANDSKME and every now and then reach out and touch your mommy. Big Sister Paisley and your  daddy and  remind then your still with them and that you to will neverr stop loving them or missing them either and remind them that all 4 of you will one-day be together again as a family but nows not the time. Remind them that they are needed down here and you were called upon to do a very special job from up  above in heaven. Remind them that your always with every single one of us,   as your mommy is having the hardest time missing you. Grandma loves you Waylon please touch your mommy so she knows your okay..
