Kaylee was crossing the street and was hit by a pickup truck. The driver took off and currently the police are trying to identify the vehicle. Kaylee has 5 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and broken leg. Any support is very much appreciated.
Kaylee is doing a little better today. They took off her neck brace. Kaylee also wiggled her toes and squeezed my hand. She still has a breathing tube in but wakes for very brief amount of time. Surgery for her broken leg went well. There isn't anything they can do for her broken ribs but let them heal over time.
Police are continuing to search for the driver that hit her and fled the scene.
