We’re so grateful for your ongoing support.

Mohammad is responsible for 11 family members, including six children. They’ve been displaced over and over, losing their home, their belongings, and any sense of stability. Now, they’re barely surviving. Food is almost impossible to find. A single bag of flour costs around $600. Potable water is scarce. They are truly starving.

Mohammad is doing everything he can, but the weight he’s carrying is unimaginable. He lost a close friend today in an airstrike, and still—he gets up each day trying to provide for everyone. The suffering in Gaza has surpassed every limit. There are no words left for what they’re enduring.

If you can donate—even a little—it goes directly to food, water, and survival. And if you can’t, sharing this fundraiser still helps more than you know. Thank you for standing with them.

Subject: Urgent Winter Update: A Race Against Time and Scarcity for Mohammed Lahia's Family

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Compassionate Strangers,

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart but also with a determined spirit to share a critical update on the situation facing Mohammed Lahia and his family. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have been able to provide them with a vital lifeline. However, the challenges they face are escalating daily as winter approaches, and the reality on the ground is more severe than we could have imagined.

The camp where Mohammed and his family are sheltering is one of the many forgotten pockets of this crisis. **They are completely cut off from formal humanitarian aid channels.** This means there are no charity kitchens providing daily meals, no distributions of clean water, and no medical tents. As a result, Mohammed is forced to risk his safety to purchase every single necessity—from a loaf of bread to a bottle of water—in the commercial market .

The situation is a brutal example of economics of scarcity. The limited goods available are sold at prices that are **outstandingly high due to their extreme scarcity** . Every penny donated is stretched to its absolute limit just to secure the most basic food and water, leaving little for other survival essentials.

Now, a new and deadly threat is fast approaching: **winter.**

Without adequate shelter, the approaching cold brings the terrifying prospect of hypothermia, frostbite, and respiratory illnesses, especially for the children and elderly . The family's current shelter is a tattered tent, utterly insufficient to protect them from freezing temperatures, rain, and wind . They face the coming months with little more than thin blankets, a situation that is dire and life-threatening.

**Our renewed and urgent mission is to ensure they can survive the winter.** Based on the practices of effective aid organizations , we need to provide them with:

*   **Dense, warm blankets** for every member of the family.
*   **Winter clothing:** Thermal layers, jackets, socks, gloves, and caps to retain body heat.
*   **Weather-proofing materials** to reinforce their flimsy shelter against the elements.
*   **A reliable source of clean water** to prevent winter illnesses exacerbated by contamination.
*   **Funds for fuel** for heating and cooking, as prices will only continue to rise.

**How Your Support Directly Changes Their Reality:**

Your donation is not just a number; it is a direct delivery of hope and survival. While large organizations work on infrastructure , our support provides *immediate, tangible* relief. Because Mohammed must buy everything commercially, your contributions translate directly into goods in their hands. We are their only aid channel.

Mohammed's words echo others in his situation: "Winter is approaching, bringing with it the terrifying prospect of flooding and freezing cold nights. We lack adequate clothing, food, and medical supplies. I have exhausted every means to protect my family, but our resources are scarce. We desperately need help to survive the harsh winter and this nightmare."

We cannot let this family face the cold alone. We have the power to wrap them in warmth and provide them with the dignity of safety.

**Please, if you have given already, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.** If you are able to give again or share this fundraiser with your network, now is the most critical time. Let’s come together to ensure Mohammed Lahia's family has the essential items they need to survive.

With immense gratitude,

Mayadah Fseisi

Hello,

I wanted to share an important update on the Lahia family, who have recently returned to their home in Khan Younis. Regrettably, their house is uninhabitable; it now exists merely as a shell with no walls remaining. Despite this devastating reality, they continue to express gratitude for both the good and bad experiences life has offered them.

Mohammed, the youngest son, has demonstrated remarkable dedication to ensuring his family’s safety during these trying times. His efforts are truly inspiring. With the recent cease-fire, he is now able to navigate the city and gather necessary supplies for his family.

However, the generous donations they received have now been exhausted. Those funds were crucial for providing food, shelter, clothing, and medicine in their time of need. The family still needs significant assistance to rebuild their lives after losing everything. Their immediate priority is to protect their home from the elements; they urgently require tarps to function as temporary walls until they can commence proper rebuilding. Additionally, they need a daily supply of food and clean water to survive, as they cannot rely on international aid, which may not reach them anytime soon.

Any support you can provide to help them secure these essentials would mean a great deal. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the Lahia family as they navigate this challenging journey.

Thank you for your compassion and support.

Best regards,

Mayadah Fseisi

Hello,

I wanted to give an update on the situation of the Lahia Family. They still desperately need a tent and winter clothes, but donations have slowed tremendously. It's supposed to rain the next few days, and their current shelter will offer very little protection from the elements.  They are relying on our generosity to survive this cruel war. Please make sure to share this fundraiser with family and friends. No donation amount is too small.

Thank you, and may God bless you during this holiday season.

Hello,

The pictures below are of the girls when they were staying at the beach camp. The family has since moved more inland due to the high winds coming off the sea and damaging their tent. The winter is fast approaching, evenings are especially cold. They are still in need of warm clothing and blankets in addition to their daily basic needs. Please continue to share this fundraiser with your friends and family, this source of support is their lifeline. This family’s needs are plenty, but your donations have eased that burden on them.  Thank you for supporting me as I support them and a big thank you from the Lahia family.
