Update: I just managed to get the rest of my stuff out of my car and let me just say, I don't know how I survived. Today was the first I'd seen the remains of my car up close and I almost cried..
So a few nights ago, on 4/29, I was on Gallatin Pk near Old Hickory Blvd., just about to start doing some Ubereats deliveries for the night and the next thing I know, everything around me has been shattered and I'm covered in blood and wondering why. I had been hit by a 20 year old unlicensed uninsured speeding driver who I can only assume just wasn't paying attention. More, according to statements on the scene, they apparently tried to switch places with their passenger, who was also unlicensed. I have health insurance for the 5 broken ribs, the nose and such, but I also had to be cut out of my now totalled car. I also now have no vehicle to help provide my only income, unless I'm able to find a fully remote job, and that's not happened yet. I've contacted Morgan and Morgan and my car insurance, but I need to work so I need help to come up with the money to get an appropriate used car. God knows I don't have the savings or credit to get something new or financed..I'll have pictures of the remains of my car online soon, would have them already but I just got home from the hospital yesterday. I need to work, please help me do that!
