My name is Lavynder Lee and I am asking for help. If you don't know me, I am a big advocate for domestic abuse survivors. That's because I am a survivor myself.
In 2021, I escaped my ex-husband through a painful divorce that left me with nothing but my children. I gave up the house, the car, and what little money I had so I could be free of the abuse I had suffered for over a decade. My children and I moved in with my mother and I thought we were finally safe. Shortly after that, I realized that my mother was conspiring with my ex-husband to spy on me and helping him to continue to abuse me financially by proxy.
On November 11, 2023, I had to escape again because I found out my ex and his family were harming my children on his visits. My mother and my entire family chose to support him in this abuse. My ex-husband in classic abuser behavior took me back to court to have me declared unfit and also tried to have me thrown in jail for protecting my children from him.
This is where I need your help. Between this vicious second-round court battle and the economy being what it is, my family needs help. I am asking for $8000 to be able to pay my lawyer and get all caught up on our funds that have been depleted due to his continuous abuse.
