ORIGINAL STORY: @Jamesisapoet + her 7 children are facing homelessness. 100% of the donations are going to fund James and her 7 children's moving and relocation expenses.
James is a single mother of 7, plus some. Amazing poet and spoken word artist. Divorced, healing and trying very hard to create a stable foundation for her family. They are currently facing homelessness. The road to stabilization after an abusive marriage, reproductive coercion, trauma and the state of economic climate with 7 children is not a fast or easy one. She doesn't expect it to be, but every now and then we all need a little help along the way.
James is balancing the financial, parenting special needs children, housing and mental health crisis that come with living without basic human needs accessible. The weight of such can feel insurmountable. We hope she remembers as she builds and believes in community that she's built, cultivated and nurtured for all of us, she has one as well. If you see her. Remind her.
