My daughter Lyla will be graduating this May, and I am incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished. Through dedication, perseverance, and strength, she earned her diploma ahead of schedule.
She is proudly Native American and values staying connected to her heritage. Although she is unable to enroll in the Meskwaki Tribe due to enrollment eligibility, she still hopes to participate in a special ceremony honoring this important milestone.
As part of this ceremony, Lyla will receive a traditional star quilt—a symbol of honor, love, and achievement. Because she is not enrolled, the quilt must be purchased privately, and we are raising support to help include this meaningful recognition in her graduation celebration.
Any support—whether through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or offering encouragement—is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping us honor Lyla’s accomplishments and this important moment in her journey.
