A month ago, my Canon R6 was stolen from my apartment. This camera was not only the foundation of my art, but my livelihood, and career. My prized and most valuable possession. If anyone knows me, they know how devastating this is for me. The projects I have used it for are based around the idea of uplifting and bringing together my community, some of which were years in the making. Losing it has not only obstructed these goals but gotten in the way of my degree, and my means of supporting myself as a working photographer.
With that being said, I’m unfortunately left with no choice but to try to crowd fund for a new camera. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean more than I can say. If you can’t donate, sharing this also helps a lot. In exchange, please reach out for a free shoot/print in the future.
