Earlier this month, on August 10, 2026, a powerful earthquake struck my hometown in Colombia -- Pereira, where most of my family, including my parents, live.
Thankfully, they are all are safe and well. However, my dad’s office was in Centro, one of the areas most severely affected by the earthquake. Due to structural damage and safety concerns, his building had to be evacuated, leaving my dad without his office and forcing him to find a new workspace until the situation is resolved.
His office was more than just a workplace. It is our family’s source of income and, for many years, my dad’s hard work and dedication have allowed us to move forward and build our lives.
Today, we are humbly asking for your support. The funds raised will help cover the costs of finding and setting up a new workspace, as well as the unexpected expenses resulting from this difficult situation.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean so much to my family and would help my dad get back to work and continue building the future he has worked so hard for.
