Hi, my team name is the Fama Chicas group and we are middle school students trying to raise money for our school project. Our team's goal is to help raise money for Aware Trust Zimbabwe in Africa. We had to choose a Non-Government Organization (NGO) to help raise money for and to help spread the word to people who would like to donate. The founders of Aware Trust Zimbabwe are a married couple, Dr Keith Dutlow and Dr. Lisa Marbini. Dr. Keith graduated from the university of Zimbabwe in 1994 and Dr Lisa Marabini also graduated from University of Zimbabwe, but in 1998. AWARE trust first started in 2004. They then started their mission to help animals. They also started to raise money to cure animals from the diseases they have. AWARE’s mission is to proactively advance the conservation and welfare of wildlife, as well wildlife habitats. They also do veterinary medicine, and try to raise AWAREness to veterinary and ecological threats to the wildlife. They help wild animals at risk from disease, while also helping with pre-emptive rehabilitation of wild animals threatened by humans. They need all the help they can get!
