I remember my visit to the 2022 Abilities Expo in Miami. Among the wheelchairs and scooters, I found the Zeen mobility device. For someone who relies on a walker with a seat, it felt like a dream come true. Trying the Zeen, I finally felt secure and free to move confidently without struggle.
When I first used the Zeen, it was as if a weight lifted. I could walk without fear and rest when needed. Imagining daily tasks like dog walks and grocery trips not with anxiety. Living in Fort Lauderdale, I long to explore and embrace activities without limits. The Zeen would mean comfort and freedom every day.
I’m determined to keep my mobility and reach my daily steps goal almost everyday. But walking has become painful and exhausting. Each step I take is unsteady and not supported. When I demo the zeen it was a relief I’ve never felt before. I walked confidently and continuously around the expo knowing this is what I’m needing. A mobility device that allowed me to walk but also let me sit to be pushed. Walking with the zeen felt good, it’s something that I can see myself using daily for dog walks, going to the store, traveling with. Doing all the things I love to do in life with out worrying about my limits.
