At the beginning of September, I will be heading out of the US to volunteer in a Romanian orphanage. Being excited for this opportunity is definitely an understatement. I will be spending 20 hours a week at the orphanage helping children who suffer from a range of disabilities being emotional, physical, mental, etc.
A little bit about the program. The program I am going through is called International Language Programs. ILP is a program where volunteers can go to a different country and teach kids English or volunteer in an orphanage. This opportunity will allow me to further my love for children and serving them while also getting to see new places and experience another culture.
The donations I receive are going directly to me. They will be used to cover the cost of my trip. Any donations big or small are greatly appreciated to help me hit my goal.
