Honoring A Beloved Father Killed By A Drunk Driver

On July 23 2026, my father's birthday, our beloved father was coming from Singing in St Ann Square In Downtown Newport, something he does daily and is famous for, he got done for the day and was returning home. As he was crossing Memorial in the crosswalk on his handicap accessible wheelchair drunk driver in a Toyota Tacoma hit my dad, flying him 30 feet in the air. He was life-flighted from Newport hospital that night and Sucome to his injuries on July 24th 2026. My dad was not just a dad to me I have 5 step-siblings that shared love with our Dad. He leaves behind a host of brothers and sister's family and friends. We sincerely appreciate all the calls and well checks being done! We thank all of you dearly for the support from everyone in this time.
