Years ago, I left Tucson with my kids because I needed to break away from addiction, toxicity, and a life that was hurting more than it was helping. I packed up, started over, and focused on raising my kids to become the amazing, strong, independent people they are today. That part of my life is something I’ll always be proud of.
Eventually, I wanted to come home. Back to Arizona. Back to myself. I finally made that move, and I truly believed this was going to be the beginning of my happy chapter.
Then life decided to throw one more plot twist at me.
I’m currently homeless and trying to get into an apartment. I’ve recently been hired by Banner Health, so I finally have steady employment and a real path forward. I’m working, rebuilding, and doing everything I can to get my feet underneath me.
Right now, I need approximately $1,200 to cover the initial apartment costs and rent so I can actually get housed and start rebuilding from a stable place.
I’m not asking for someone to fund my life. I’m asking for a little help getting through the doorway into the life I’ve worked my ass off to reach.
I raised my kids. I survived addiction. I walked away from toxic situations. I started over more than once. I came home.
Now I’d really like a chance to be happy.
If you can donate, even $5 helps. If you can’t, sharing this means more than you know.
Please help me get home, housed, and finally into the chapter where I get to live instead of just survive.
