When I was a little girl, my mother had breast cancer. I was probably 11 years old, so I never knew. Fast forward to adulthood, probably 18, 19 years old and it came back. But with vengeance this time. And it was frightening to know that my mother could possible die from this horrific disease. This charity is very close to my heart as a lot of close strong empowering women have also gone through this. I am turning 40 this year and in the month of Breast Cancer Awareness. Also at the age that mammograms are very important . And in leiu of gifts this year, I am asking everyone to donate to any Breast Cancer Charity of their choice so that we can fund research to fight this beast. Also, I am asking everyone to run this month for charity Up to 100 miles for the month of October (that's about a 5k a day). With every mile you run, i will donate more of my money to the charity. Send me your screenshots of the miles you run and I will keep you abreast (ha) to what is donated!
