This is Pepper. She’s 12 years old. A Dachshund/Pug. I’m 74 years old with back pain and she does not get the walks she needs or deserves. Both of these breeds are food motivated!
I found a lump on her side a few months ago. The last visit to the vet he said it was not solid and did not think it was a necessary surgery at this time. We also decided when he does it, to get her teeth cleaned and checked at the same time.
Recently I noticed the lump was getting bigger although it’s still soft and movable. I feel that she has a few other spots that feel unusual. She is off her feed at times and I think she may have a toothache. He quoted me $1200-$1400 for the services he described. Now with the new developments it may be more. I am on SS and live alone.
