My friend Marci has been wheeling herself in her wheelchair from her apartment to Killeen Creators Art of Recovery Studio several times a week - to teach crafts and be out supporting her community.
But what she really wants - and needs - are the WHEELS of a car 🚙, so she can also drive Uber and get to her appointments independently.

Oh yeah, and not only CAN Marci drive, she LOVES to drive! "Driving gives me the freedom and independence I have struggled to find since I was brutally attacked 7 years ago by my ex, resulting in a spinal injury that put in this wheelchair. When I'm driving, I have no limitations. I'm free. And I really want to earn my own money and not have to beg for rides."
If we all pitch in what we can (whether that's $5 $50 or $500!) Marci's dream to earn her own living again will become a reality!
