Update 11/17/2023:

 

Chandra and Eric are doing better continually thank goodness.  They were very lucky.  Eric is back to work, but Chandra is not.  Her FMLA, protection for her job only lasts a few more days but it will be quite some time before she is released to go back to work.  She still can’t lift her arm above shoulder or put any weight / pressure on it.  It will take time to heal and she still needs to be cleared so she can start therapy.  

Please continue your thoughts and prayers.  If you can share my updates / posts, that would help tremendously.  You never know who might donate or share.

I don’t have many updates, but Chandra’s surgery for her collarbone is scheduled for this Thursday, 11/2.  Please continue your prayers, positive though, juju or mojo and all the positivity and healthy healing powers possible.

Update 10/20/2023:

 

Not a great week for Chandra unfortunately.  While at a doctor appointment they were reviewing her recent X-Rays and she’s not healing as expected.  

 

She broke the tip of her elbow off and it looks like its floating in there but I guess there’s nothing for them to do about it????

And, her clavicle is not healing as expected.  She’s going to have surgery in a couple of weeks, which will set her recovery and return to work back even further.  She won’t be able to do therapy for a while.  

If you can help spread the word and share, that would be greatly appreciated.

Update 10/13/2023:

 

Chandra and Eric are continuing to improve and get better week after week.

This week Chandra got the all clear to remove her collar.   Now, she just has to wait for the rest of her breaks to heal (ribs, clavicle and scapula).  They think she will be able to return to work towards the end of November.  That’s about 6 weeks away.
