Hey gang.
This year we took the cats in for dental cleanings and found out that Carrot has duplicate molars. These have almost certainly been causing him pain which he doesn't telegraph because he's an extremely weird cat and the vet says there is evidence of the start of periodontal disease. Bleeding, inflammation, and they seem to think he's in pain. Which I trust them about, Carrot doesn't telegraph.
As with humans, dental health is extremely important for cats and Carrot is my darling.
Unfortunately, this comes at an extremely bad time for Alex and I financially. We've both had a number of health problems which are bad enough on their own and always more expensive than you think, even in small ways, but they've also forced Alex to take more FMLA than we'd have liked which cuts the budget down further.
And the interest on the Care Credit is insane if you don't get it paid off within the year. Like 32%, absolutely insane.
Anything you can throw at this would be a colossal help, I know that 2k is a lot in today's economy but every little bit helps. If we can get help with any of this, it helps immensely.
Thank,
Aki
